MS Live Search goes Live
p2pnet.net News:- Bill and the Boyz say their Live Search and Live.com are now out of beta, also trumpeting the, “final availability of Live Local Search in the U.K. and the U.S.”
“Microsoft also announced that Live Search will now power the Web search capability on MSN, the company’s media and entertainment portal,” it says.
Or you can, “Share your smarts on Live QnA” which, “connects you to the best answers from the right people,” the guy with the dogs on the QnA page being, presumably, one such.
The interface is, “minimalist, like Google’s,” and search has a slider feature, “that controls the sizes of thumbnails on the results page, and QnA, in beta, is similar to Yahoo Answers,” says ZDNet’s Between the Lines, adding, “and one day Google’s worst nightmare could come true – to Google means to search on any site, even Live Search, which isn’t easily turned into a verb”.
Meanwhile, how many people will turn to it simply because it’s not Google?
