Apple ‘fixes’ iTunes
2pnet.net News:- Following numerous complaints about the latest release of iTunes, the user-funded iPod front-end loader, Apple has shame-facedly snuck out an ‘update’ [read fix].
Does it explain exactly what the many and various problems were?
Nope.
You’re only the people who keep Apple fat and happy. You don’t deserve anything like an explanation or an apology. So all you get is, “- iTunes 7.0.1 addresses stability and performance issues with Cover Flow, CD importing, iPod syncing, and more.”
And more?
Don’t bother to stay tuned.

Criticism is common on this website - sometimes it has a place, but other times it does not.
Where is the place in this kind of criticism? Apple always is vague in their updates. This isn’t Windows, they don’t give extensive changelogs, only brief changelogs.
This isn’t news. <Yawn> I’m bored.

Personally I prefer to have at least a complete list of the issues that any given update is supposed to address. “And more” stretches the word “vague” beyond reasonable use. I guess as long as iPods & iTunes are the style leader most users will just install whatever they are fed. “who cares whots in teh updat, teh ipod is sick!”

iTunes sux. Use winamp w/the Ipod plugin instead.
