2pnet.net News:- Firefox 2 Release Candidate 1 is on the loose with built-in phishing protection and ’session restore’ designed to re-launch windows, tabs and active downloads if an unwanted shutdown occurs.

It’s, "aimed at Web Application Developers, testers and early adopters," says mozillaZine, and "users should not expect all of their extensions, plugins and themes from previous versions of Firefox to work properly".

With that thought in mind, also remember that if you install RC1, it’ll over-write the previous version.
